Method of Treatment
Termex can be used both in Pre and Post construction Treatments. It should be as per IS 6313(Part 2): 2001 & IS 6313(Part 3):2001 for Pre-Construction & Post-Construction Chemical Treatment respectively. However, Pre-Construction Treatment works longer and costs cheaper.
Premise:
It is based on Imidacloprid and it is from the House of BAYER a well known Chemical Company World Wide. Premise acts by creating a Non-repellent treated Zone Which actually functions as a` killing Field’.Termites entering the Treated Zone cannot dedect the Presence of Premise and gets exposed to the Lethal doses of the product.Due to the Non-repellent property of Premise, termites DO NOT look around the `Barrier’ for a gap to get an Entry. Termites exposed to Premise become dysfunctional and stop feeding.In addition Termites trans Premise and its debilitating effects by contact to other Nest mates not directly exposed to the `Treated Zone’. This causes reduction in Termite Populations by Attrition.Premise spreads well in the soil and ensures sufficient distribution of the product in the soil and remains for a long time to ensure safety from Termites.
